Yeah, I know what you mean. I couldn't get back far enough with the stock seats. It's much better now, in fact you saw where I said I had to move it up a little. With the stockers my knee hit with the seat all the way back and I removed the dead pedal for some room.

What kinda kirkey do you have? I had one for all of a week. It absolutely killed my back because of the lack of lumbar.

The piece is triangular shaped and isn't sewed or glued in so it is movable and adjustable. My lower back is bad so I thought it was just me. The molded seat bottoms are quite comfy though and adjusting the lumbar for personal tastes is so easy Hyper could do it. No tools required. I find the Kirkeys far more comfortable than the stock seats even without the addition of the lumbar foam. Do like. https://www.miataforumz.com/attachme...ine=1319803473 Kirkey Pro Drag in 16" |

:) I actually added a small wedge of seat foam to the lumbar region that I had left over from making seats for my boat. Yes I dabble in sewing upholstery.

I finished the installation of an Alpine CDA-9677 head unit along with an older U.S. Acoustics Amp and component Speakers in the doors. Haven't quite figured out what I will do for a sub.
