got mine out of "storage"

got it prepped for inspection and emissions after sitting parked since October.

had a random leak on a brake line, found the HT no longer securely latches tight, Dad scrtached the trunk lid, found a failed vacuum cap.

Needs a cas o-ring, valve cover gasket and rear water outlet gasket.

put my Koseis with XSs on for summer fun.

cleaned up some of my wiring in the engine bay.

Picked a good week to take it of storage!

Im going to work some more with the DIYPNP work on getting everything dialed in a bit better. Took it for a wash on Sat. maybe I'll snap a few pics to upload.

Oh yeah. I upgraded to the new alpha18 firmware, to come home and learn they just released beta19 on Sunday.

car is still in my dad's care, he's going to take it in for emissions and inspection and ill let him enjoy it a bit more before I take it back.

Nice, I still haven't messed around with any of the idle stuff, seems to be doing a pretty damn good job. I did try to lean out the idle, but it didn't like it too much, lots of hunting. I will probably just leave it where its at for idle. I do need to lean out my cruise areas though. I haven't actually calculated MPG yet, but it seems pretty bad at this point. Bumping a few areas up to about a 15.5 AFR target and I'm going to do some more auto tuning.

Is going to sequential worth it at this point (mostly stock)? I hear you can idle much leaner with seq. fuel.

MF-Brain Mar 13, 2012 12:19 PM

you can idle crazy lean with seq. not so much on batch. I'm sure youre okay at around 14.0:1?

this firmware is very similar to what you are running and the way it handles a/c is much improved.
