You are confused. It is still a MSM, someone just removed the 6spd and put in a 5spd. So it was still turbo.

I'm pretty sure phil would know if it was an MSM or not, considering he has one.

At least this is how I'm reading it. That' the way I read it also.:) The 5spd's have a reputation of shifting much better than the 6spds. And when modded the MSM's don't really need the 6spd to stay in the powerband. That's my take anyway.:) |
That being said... anyone want to trade their MSM 6spd for my 97 5sd :D

Know you said trade, but I was on ebay a few minutes ago and saw a MSM 6speed for sale for like $1200 which is kinda a deal.
