So about a week ago i bought my first miata its a 2004 miata base model with a 5 speed and 115,000 miles and its the black cherry mica color. it is completely stock and so far i have done general maintenance like oil, plugs, wires, coils, brakes, and new tires (Bridgestone Potenza re760 sports). and now i'm just curious as to what kind of mods people normally do to a nb miata to make it more enjoyable than it already is. i'm very mechanically inclined so working on my own car doesn't intimidate me. I appreciate all feedback so just let me know what you guys have done!

I just bought my '02, yesterday. I'm gonna start on cleaning/lubing the window tracks.

 

A lot depends on your age. If young, you might want to consider louder mufflers..If very elderly like me, such an idea would be unthinkable.

Question: What do you consider to be "more enjoyable?"
