I certainly think its plausible. just depends on how much time and money you want to spend tuning. You can also get some custom headers. I think the key to getting the last bit of power is
1) getting a slightly improved intake manifold, like the square top
2) getting a cold air intake or cowl induction or whatever you like (just make sure its ambient air)

Guys quoted me a reasonable $250 - $350 for the tune. They charge $100/hr for the dyno. I don't need to waste too much money trying to squeeze out every last HP. The real goal is to build myself a turbo next winter. I want one of those Sexy Absurdflow headers!

Because I plan to turbo next year, I was thinking to not waste the money on a CIA. BTW, I bought that heat wrap you suggested. $14.00!

haha yea, I can tell you siliconeintakes has good stuff. The coldside stuff is top notch considering you are paying a 1/3 of the price of the mainstream retailers (silicone tubes, aluminum tube, and silicone bends). Both the aluminum w/ fiberglass and the regular header wrap were very nice.

Turbo is a good idea, in that case I would probably just run the base map and put the 350 towards turbo parts.

Default The Results

ThirdGen was correct. I pulled 109.1 HP and about 118. Attached are the final results.

The place was really cool. They are actually a prorating team that has a speedshop on the side. They race vetoes and have developed entire carbon fiber bodies for their race cars. While they setup my Miata Ray gave me a tour. It's a real nice looking place and the guys were really cool. Had a custom viper being built for the track, a Cadillic CTS-V being completely gutted, caged, rebuilt, two Spec Miatas, and tons of Vettes.

They charge $150 for a baseline, then $100 for additional dyno time.

They are taking out the LS7s in some of these vetoes and swapping in custom 800 HP beasts. I asked that any EXTRA LSX they have laying around that they give to me next time

man, you had me going for a second. I was like wtf how did he put down 117 ft-lbs and only 109 hp? makes no damn sense. You actually put down more like 96 ft-lbs and 109 hp. Read off the right side graph for torque and left side for hp.

Plenty to go for what you want my man! I wish I could go get my car dyno'd. I might do that for ***** and giggles soon after I get my leakdown done. BTW, an exhaust+Intake will really spice things up for you, especially with the MSM cam to take advantage.

Now that you have your baseline, what are your plans?
I never baselined mine, but my last dyno was 225whp/209wtq. That was on about 12psi with MS2 standalone. Night and day compared to stock...hell, night and day compared to 7psi with a voo-doo box! I thought that at 225whp on that cold day out, that was ripped like never before. I'd like to see around 250whp with a larger turbo and less boost before I call it quits on tinkering with my car.

This winter I'm picking up from last winter's build and I'm finishing off the additional chassis stiffening, additional safety items, and heat mitigation parts of the build. This includes things like taking out the A/C, installing some frog arms, door bars, coolant reroute, header wrap, 01 Header, new exhaust (probably roadster sport), adjustable cam gear, new clutch, oil cooler. Finally, I'll top it off with the MS3 which is the reason I went and got the dyno baseline.

Then, this summer I'll begin gathering parts for my turbo build. That also gives me another year at the track pushing the limits of the maita as while still N/A. The only thing I know I am going to do with the Turbo is make my own and try to get one of those Ram Horn Absurd Flow setups with VBands and Icconol studs with big *** FMIC.

That's a configurable option? I'll make sure to ask them next time, because it is annoying.
