Oh, that was just a member day out at Harris Hill Road. I was testing out the eye-bolts that I had just installed for the harness. I have equal seats & restraints in both sides now.

Just got back from the body shop. All cleaned up, painted and fixed. So stoked!

Thanks for the edit I'll do better next time.

That is a real 8 ball. I kind of did it just to experiment but left it on cause I liked it so much.

And that's my never leave home without it Valentine One plugged into the lighter socket ( I need to hardwire it).

I hard wired my beltronics rx65, the hardwire kit wasn't long enough go all around the windshield, down the console, to the center to reach the cig lighter. So I got lazy and wired it to the map light. Don't do this, the light is not a constant (although in my jeep it is). I now must turn on the map light to give the radar detector power. I plasti-dipped the cover for the map light lol

What did you use to tap threads onto the billiard ball?

Two things guys:

1) Please Embed your pictures, I don't want to click on 15 pictures every page.

2) please REMOVE pictures from your quotes, we don't need to see the same picture 5 times either. Or have an insanely long page to scroll through.

Although I have a tap & die set I have no metric taps so I just drilled the ball a wee bit large and used rubberized tape for a friction fit. If I had realized how much I would like it I would have done a more professional job although it still works very well and is a snug fit.

I'm jealous of all the hardtops.
