And that is why I apologized in first post for intruding. Only needed a rough estimate of engine size to see if this was even possible. And I know its going in a truck but it is a motor you guys are familiar with. As to my guys are not. I have searched web and asked and have yet to find someone I know who owns a 01-05 miata. If I am unwelcome here for any reason feel free to let me know as to I would undetstand I am wasting your time and space here. Thank you for any more info or at least being honest with me. And again I am sorry.

your fine, if i could measure one i would for you. but i dont have easy access to an nb

An NA 1.8 is virtually the same size. I'd measure mine for ya if I was near it. They use the same block.

alright i measured the NA 1.6, which is in the same ball park
the motor is roughly
2ft long
2ft intake to edge of the turbo
the block is roughly 1ft wide measured from the cam cover

those are all rough ballpark figures but should help you get an idea of what will fit.
