Default Emergency Brake Light activates when driving

When I accelerate moderately + the E-Brake light comes on until i've let off the gas a little bit and the car is not pulling as much. Any idea what would cause this? It's been happening for quite a while, and i've just lived with it. But I found this forum and decided to ask. Thanks in advance.

I had had the same problem for about 18 months. I took it in to have it looked at without success. Finally about three months ago I had the loose screw in the roof problem fixed and asked the service department to look at the brake light problem again. Finally it was fixed. The problem is the level of fluid in the reservoir gets low and when you accelerate it thinks it is low and the light comes on telling you. Refill the fluid and it will be fine.

Mine was doing that too and it turned out to be low fluid level in the master cylinder. When accelerating, the fluid sloshes to the rear of the reservoir, triggering the low fluid level warning light.
