Ditto on the barometric challenge sixshooter. And thanks. Just where can you get these chinese units? I'm sure there are accessories and install gadgetry that goes with it though. these can't be complete units...or can they?

They can come as full units, but being how new the NC is I kinda have my doubts as to what kinda full kits there are, as well as the quality/development time behind them are. If I were you I would piece together my own? But this is mainly my experience with the NA speaking here.

You wouldn't want a full Chinese kit if they did make one. Source your components separately and find the best piece at the best price. Fabricated Chinese manifolds are crap but their turbos, intercoolers and charge piping are fine. Cast iron Chinese manifolds seem to be ok on the B6 engines but I don't know on the MZR. Actually the MZR might do fine with the fabricated ones. The B6 and BP have vibration issues that the MZR might not. BEGi makes a manifold and downpipe for that engine. Use a Chinese turbo and Intercooler and a Megasquirt or an AEM computer and go to town.

Who here owns an NC?

What do you think of the potential for awesomeness?

Troy - not sure who the NC your talking about belongs too but I'm friends with a guy up in Broward county that has a black NC, wide tires, Enkei's and a mean turbo. That car is fast and well built, He goes by Blackone in Miata.net.

I have a turbo NC too - only two I know of in Florida. Not sure about supercharged NC's, think there are a few.

Running now - but had done some work the other day that allowed me to photograph what is usually hidden...

Very interesting. I hope to get a closer look at how those engine compartments are different one day. Good looking car!

I am guessing the car I am seeing around here is naturally aspirated. Wheels and tires are not that much bigger. Car still looks great though.

I just saw it a few days ago on I-4. I am in Hillsborough County near Tampa.

How long have you had your NC? You should fill us in on what you have done so far, and what your long term goals are.
