Rattling noise in console area
 

I have a noise, like a rattle of something that seems like it’s loose inside the transmission and console area. Turning corners it seems like it goes to one side of the console and is banging off the side of it. I removed the console and couldn’t really see or feel anything that would be causing the noise. The car drives and shifts just fine. I’m just mystified. I had a new in dash stereo installed and asked the guy to keep a lookout for something out of place. I’m stumped. In one of the how to You Tube videos on removing the center console, they were changing a shifter bushing. Do they break or split and be rolling around? Signed, Stumped in Port Crane.
