Another runaway from CR.net

Hey. Some may already know me. If not, I'm Michael. My miata was t-boned by a semi a few weeks back so I might not be too active but I'll lurk here and there. Hope to meet some new faces.

RedTurboMiata 01-06-2012 09:37 PM

Unfortunately, most pics are on my phone and I don't have the cable for it right now. lol. Here is a pic of me and Fabel if anyone knows him. If not, I'm the silver car.

Welcome to the site Michael. You can check out our First Feature and the MFz sponsored drivers under the miata pictures section. Hope you are doing well after the wreck. Plan to get another miata soon?

You will want to stick around, we are cooking up a pretty exciting contest and lets just say its going to have a monetary prize and some very nice goodies ;)

Lots of Chicago people here btw, I think they are planning to meet up sometime this next week or two.

Maikeru 01-06-2012 09:57 PM

Im actually gonna keep the same one. Frame is straight still, just a ton of bodywork to do. I just opened my own shop though, so I have a space to work on it in peace. lol.

There are a couple pics in post #4 from this summer. I can't send picture mail with my phone and I lost the cable so I can't get pics of the car after accident untill someone else takes one and posts in online. lol. As for the shop, it's actually a toyota shop so nothing of interest really, unless of course you like v6 mr2's and celica all-tracs.

Our shop All-trac:

That alltrac is legit, though it's time to paint the wheels again.

It is y8s approved though in spite of the murdery nature of it.

Because I am a former addict/owner.

Its funny cause the wheels are actually like a dark gunmetal. It just looks black in pics. It will probably be getting some SSR or Rays wheels soon. (We deal both so it only seems right to have some on our shop car, lol)

That black Celica is bauce as hell.

Mazduh 01-12-2012 03:40 PM

Hey! Good to see you! I can't remember if we've ever actually met in person. But I remember you're car from meets etc.

Welcome!

sixshooter 01-12-2012 04:01 PM

I wish there were more all-trac's out there.

y8s 01-12-2012 04:37 PM

I don't. They're old and hard to work on and parts are hard to find.

granted, they are a fun car but...

This. Almost everything we've done ourselves. Custom intercooler, exhaust, intake, downpipe. CT20B. ---- is expensive to buy actual parts. Not to mention we have to do a clutch soon. Step 1: Remove motor.

While its out, we're building it. Aiming for a conservative 350whp with the ct20b.

And hey Mazduh! Whats up man? Good to see ya.

y8s 01-12-2012 08:01 PM

I did a clutch job on my ST165 by myself once. Jack under motor, remove motor, engine hoist to shock towers, lift car over motor, slide motor out, change clutch. Installation is the reverse. Wasn't terribly difficult. :D

sixshooter 01-13-2012 08:30 AM

If there were more of them then there would be more parts available, both used and aftermarket.

Slider 01-16-2012 09:07 AM

Welcome, man it sucks about the car hope the repair goes well! I don't remember seeing that All-Trac, but then again I haven't been on the Celica forums that much. It's beautiful *drool*
