Default Hi, I am Johnd. I am new and have issues

I bought a 1993 Monster Miata in January. It runs great. However the the car lacks air conditioning and the interior gets really hot. I am currently installing
Thermo Tech sound an heat material. Are there any tips out there on where the majority of the heat is coming from. The car has headers and cats. I don't want to wrap the headers. I am hoping to find a few 'secret' holes to the interior that can be covered.

Also, is there a template designed to cover part of the transmission tunnel?

Thanks

If you plan to insulate do the entire inside of the car including the area in front of the dash. Welcome to mfz
