Yea, yay for vvt but nay for premium but the last, IDK, 4 cars required it and this recommends it haha. And yea, not many Blazing Yellow Mica's, another part of the Special Edition package.

Bumping the base spark timing up from 10 to 15 degrees will net a little crispness to the throttle feel, but unless you go turbo there isn't much you can do with it for making real horses.

Put some 93 in today after it finally got close to being empty and wow, did not think I would notice a difference but it definitely prefers that recommended stuff haha. Better get up and pull through the rpm range and it does not seem thrashy sounding like it did. In a pinch atleast I know it goes on regular but not far, that tank went fast. I know these are not gas savers at all but it drank that stuff like no ones business. I am sure on prem it'll be better then 200-215 miles to a tank. Pretty bad when my 167K 5.0L does better.

What kind of mileage were you getting? wow. On stock ecu in my 93 I have managed 28 mpg highway. And that engine isnt the best example of a well running engine.

have not calculated it yet but I am thinking probably around 23 that last tank going off of my last car that did at best 250 miles to a tank in mostly city type driving, was not a surprise in that car though, way more power and I liked to give it some gusto here and there.
