Default New to the forum

Howdy, I'm new to the forum. I have been a Miata owner for almost 10 years. Love this little car! Recently installed an MP-62 supercharger from Moss.
I am also member of Delaware Valley Miata club in southeastern PA, New Jersey and Delaware. A fun club with a lot of great Miata enthusiasts.
Looking forward to some interesting discussions

Welcome to the forum! Do you do any autocross or trackdays, or just make the MP62 sing in the streets?

Have you done any suspension work to it?

I do a few track days with the DelVal club. No autocross yet.
Put new HD sway bars and adjustable shocks and slotted /drilled rotors for better stopping power

Which shocks did you end up with?

I put KYB adjustable shocks and noticed a difference right away. Should probably upgrade to a stiffer spring also.

I upgraded to adjustable coilovers and tighter springs. I enjoy the tightness of the ride. I have a how-to on this site somewhere for it. Maybe it ended up in my build thread.

If you have already done track days then autocross will bore the hell out of you, so don't bother.

You need enough spring to keep the car off of the bumpstops in the corners of your favorite track. That will allow you to still have a little motion available to soak up imperfections and irregular surfaces. You can put a zip tie tightly around the shock's rod just above the body of the shock before a track session and then see how far up toward the bumpstop it has moved during the coarse of the session. This may tell you if you need more spring or have enough. 400/300 is a good match for a dual purpose car if you have enough shock to handle them without getting jittery.
