I am obsessing about a Miata. Everything poits to a 94 to 99 due to air bags.Im thinking an automatic is goig to e less of thrill. Current favor is a 94 with new tires and top for 4k. Is that over priced?

That depends on condition and miles. I've seen '94 cars worth $400 and worth $3500 depending on condition and mods.
