Default New from SE TN.

Hi all! Al checking in from South East Tennessee. I'm on a couple of the other forums, just don’t post much, I'm mostly a reader. Anyhow, my daily driver is a bone stock 94 NA Base, in Laguna Blue Mica with 88,000 mile on it. I drive about 100 miles round-trip a day and enjoy every second of it. My daily commute used to consist of 70% highway travel but has since changed to every twisted mountain back road I can think of. If you hang out in the north Chattanooga area, you have probably passed me or been passed by me. I'm not sure why but it seems like everybody wants to kill the big guy in the little car, for some reason??

My wife’s daily driver is an RX8 it was mine to start with but she took it from me and laughed about it. Anyhow, good to be here and I just picked up a 93 NA that has been hit in the front. I bought it for the hardtop and planned on getting rid of the car. It runs but needs a radiator and some sheet metal, I don't know what I'll do with it but for now I’m calling it a "project"... until the wife demands I get it out of the yard.

Good to be here!

Do you do track days or just mountain runs?

Nope, I don't know of any track days around here. My mountain runs are part of my daily drive every week day. I "have" to cross a mountain twice every day on my 90 mile commute to work. It used to be a pain in my full sized family cars, now... not so much.

If your willing to travel a bit, there are track days not terribly far from where you are. atlanta, just south of charlotte, are the closest ones I know of. I know certain groups have tried to run some speedway in tenn. Im not sure which one though.

Oh yeah, good to have you here! welcome!
