Noobie From Florida

Hi guys (usually only guys hang out on these car sites) I'm Julekpl. I'm an owner of a 1990 miata. I love my car, but it's time to play around with it. I'm here to find good tips on fixing (customizing) my miata. I'm 20, so I don't have much money to spend on my car, so I am open to any good tips on low budget tweaks. And I know very little on cars too :D

Thanks for having me here!

welcome to MFz, a good turbo setup can be had if you want to A. wait for the right deals, and B. learn what will and will not work together. Also some of the greddy kits are out there for cheap(disclaimer- wouldnt recommend the greddy kit)

Suspension and brakes would be at the top of my shopping list if money was tight.

For the '90, I would look to upgrade to the larger '94-05 rotors and calipers, then better pads.

I would also look for a good set of used Bilstein shocks '99-05, preferably "Hard S", "Sport" or the Mazdaspeed Miata valving.
