wont start
 

hi, I,am a newbie . I own a 1992 mx-5, bought a new battery had it installed, the car started right up no problems. went out a few days later to a dead batt. put a jumper on it to start the car and the only thing I have power to is the headlights. no radio wont start, nothing. I have no idea what is wrong so any help would be appreciated thanks.

Mine kept leaving the trunk light on when closed and draining the battery, but you seem to have another problem. I would check the ground points on the engine, the firewall, at the battery, and in the trunk. Then I would check the positive cable at the starter.
