Monday morning my family is driving to Cali for some family stuff.

I have driven your "route 1" a lot. Easy drive. There are a metric ---- ton of tolls in OK though. "route 3" might be better since it avoids them. "route 2" in winter might be shady.
Although keep in mind, TX + NM on route 1 and 3 just had a metric ass ton of snow in areas where they are not prepared (road clearing). And more is expected. http://www.weather.com/weather/today/USTX0687:1:US |
