We needz this! A thread to discuss The fastest form of motorsports!

I will post up something after I watch qualies later today.

WOOO!! McLaren 1-2. No more ferrari? and a completely new guy in 3rd place? This has got to be one of the most interesting starts to a year in a few years!

I am glad to see Brawn and Merc finally getting challenge. And who said Schumie couldn't race anymore?!

Mazduh Mar 17, 2012 02:29 PM

I'd love to keep up on F1 but all their races are like 3am for me...

ZippyMX-5 Mar 17, 2012 08:15 PM

I have only watched F1 on and off since the year it was Schumacher vs Alonso all season, that was such a good season. Haven't watched mutch of the Vettle beatdown, I may start watching again this season though.

not looking so good for Vettel from this quali....

Positives though...there is quite a few teams that will be contending for the last few spots in Q3. I think McLaren, RB, and Merc. are guaranteed Q3ers. Alonso should be in it too, but he will have to beat off Renault, Force India, Williams, and possibly Toro Rosso.

I am probably going to watch qualies this year. I stopped halfway through last year...thanks to vettel raping.

What channel was showing qualifying today? I missed it. I have tonights race set to record though.

Mazduh, I agree, the time delay sucks. SpeedHD replays the races usually, but I forget to watch a lot of them.

Speed for me. F1 is the only reason I have HD DVR and the sports package. F1 costs me about $20 a month.

I'm super excited for this season, I'm not usually a big fan of change, but I'm very glad to get rid of the RB domination of last year.

I think Kimi's going to be very strong this year as well, bummer about his qualifying mishap in Austrailia. Little sideways action ruined his lap and for some reason they didn't get him out in time for another lap. I think they expected his one lap to get him out of Q1, still should have left time for another.

yea, I was pretty excited about kimi, but then the announcers said he told them he wasn't going to drive if it rained. I was like...wtf? you will rally a car in any condition, but not drive in the rain in F1?

Was it me, or did anyone else notice how politically incorrect the announcers could be. They had me cracking up. With comments like "looks like he just got passed by that Mexican" and "Venezuela's congress or whatever they want to call themselves."
