Saw this article, what are your guy's thoughts?

I think it's butt f*cking ugly... But I could consider it if they actually got their goal weight and power concerns down for it. Still kinda bleh.

agreed, they need to go back to the small front end style not the tall box type.

 

If Mazda comes out with the new Miata looking like that, they're going to see a HUGE drop in sales, that's for sure.

 

This is what seperates me from you buttheads. You care about the looks of it. Did you not read about it going from the current NC 2.0 liter to a 1.5 liter engine making 125 HP? F that. When I think of miata's, I think of a light roadster that actuallly makes decent power and is designed to bolt a turbocharger to. Not a RWD econo car that every single FWD car wipes their asses with all day long.

 

Looks ugly as hell.

 

It does say the us gets a 2.0l. ----- died but it probably won't be Turbo friendly. I like the look. I am weird tho.

 

Its all about the handling fellas, we all know a 13BT fits anywhere.

Im just as keen on the FT86 myself, being a 'proper' corolla owner (AE86'n it like a BOSS)
