Unless that bass turd is hedging a ton of oil and helping inflate prices, I personally wouldn't take his guess on fuel prices for gospel.

That being said, I'm glad I don't own a MS3 and instead have a 45 mpg VW TDI for when fuel prices go up again. My car appreciates when that happens.

Been having trouble detaching myself from my car lately. Don't think my broke *** can support it for the upcoming couple of years.. Just gotta get over this hurdle and accept it for the inanimate object that it is I suppose. :/

I'll drop off that book in about an hour? We'll see how the year goes before snow drops again in December.

Just because finances don't allow all the things you want now is no reason to give up on it. Even in stock form the car is reliable and more fun than 90% of the other options.

I figured I'll repair the rust before the coming winter and rustproof it before winter hits.. then I'll just spray her down next winter every couple weeks. Hell if diesel can do it, I can too!

Three Chicago winters as a daily driver and my car does not have any rust problems. It's all about how much time/effort you put into it. Corrosion of any type can be controlled. If we can keep warships afloat in the oceans (read saltwater) afloat for 60+ years, we can keep a car in good shape too.

I don't think Jayce has the budget of the US Navy though.

Neither do I, but I manage. Point being that its about knowledge of corrosion control, not throwing money at the problem.
