Wish I could snatch it up. I'd trade my 95 for that one.

These rank up there with slammed dually pickups, and jacked up sedans. I guess on the bright side, these morons will leave us with plenty of wrecked Miatae to pull parts from. Aaron, whats so great about that miata? It scares me that he doesnt list a spark management system at all, just the fuel regulator. |
Nothing great about it, just a relatively clean car already boosted. It wouldn't take much for me to restore it to good condition. It's kinda what I do. ;)
Edit; Nevermind. I just took a better look at the parts list. Not worth the money. |
its 3500 at best, stock ecu, injectors :smilie_daumenneg:
needs oil cooler, ecu, injectors, coolant reroute, race radiator. and probably much more |
but but but...guys...but its JDM(chicago)!
|
I didn't think it was too bad. Needs some changes to handle all that boost, but not overall that bad. You guys forget, this is the great salty north and that's a clean CA car. Only foreigners like Aaron have salt free cars up here.

http://www.jdmchicago.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22736 just another 91 with a shitty greddy turbo kit and a 6sp. 6sp on a 4.3 rear sucks. no roll bar has shitty suspension has a 1.6L has a shitty clutch has a stock radiator has no ECU has stupid 14" wheels has a warped racing beat type I bumper has drilled rotors in 1.6L size has a few nice things like the lights and the JR sway bar, but i mean thats not a big deal. there's nothing special about this car but for the new softtop. |

I'd have a real hard time buying someone's project. It's not a pride thing, it's that you are now at the mercy of the OP's skills and way of doing things. The car could be great or you could have a ton of issues and things to figure out.
Honestly, the only way I'd buy a turbo miata is it was a stock MSM or a car with a well documented build thread on MT or MFZ. |
