So you guys know how usually a car or truck loses its value the longer you have it, for some reason my Ranger actually went up in value significantly. i bought it 3 years ago for 6500, KBB says its worth just shy of 9k. i dont understand why it went up in value so much, but im not complaining either.

yeah bro, like 93% of the 700,000 cars taken off the road were trucks. and the majority being fords/gm. I think it has something to do with the ford stopping production of the ranger soon. |
I love that ranger I have it's just not great on gas 17mpg, but I've pulled trailers with cars and heavy stuff with it no problem. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when my current one is gone.

On a different note, I have decided that instead of another na When I sell or part mine I'm going to find an NB with vvt and hopefully a 6speed, and build that as a fun street car with all the creature comforts and a hardtop.

Changing the topic.
Until I actually pull the trigger on something, Ill probably keep changing my mind. I was thinking a VVT swap and some work similar to Emilio's 95r street build over on MT.net (probably wont do this, but I have kicked it around) http://www.miataturbo.net/showthread...&highlight=95r Discuss. |
Ha, nice topic change =D

Going to say it now turbo or bust.
|
Yeah, I'm still more than likely going turbo (99%) but for some reason there is about 1% of me that wants a neat N/A build.
