Selling diamond rings & gold

I have some jewelry I want to sell. Is anyone familiar with this stuff?

Should I just take it to the local trusted jewelry store or would a big box-store place offer me more money?

I need moneyz to buy some clubsports!

I feel dirty and dishonest giving a value on stolen jewelry.

lol

Design isnt worth anything, its the gold.... not even sure people care about diamonds.

Have you priced checked vs ebay?

Flier129 08-02-2011 08:35 PM

I'm checking now, ebay is weird nowadays.

Reality is people are only paying on the gold and they still wanna make profit. If you bought the ring like 10 years ago you might break even or get slightly more.

Perhaps you will get more selling privately.

I was hoping for 1/2 of what I have in it :(.

I think its only around $3500 between the two, I can't really remember. They're not anything insane, although I was insane at the time, lol.

Post pics.

Do you know the sizing ? When you get a quote at a dealer of what they are worth, ask them for the sizing of them. Will majorly help when selling.

The size is tiny, 2 1/2-3, lol. I'll need to get them re-sized.

I hope these pictures come out right.

I don't like...its not from Zales, so its not legit. :P

PS - Sorry I have added no value to this thread, I have no idea what I am talking about. Good luck!

It would be a better thing to brings your jewelries into a trusted jewelry store for the assurance of the right value of your jewelries.

Last I heard for diamonds you can expect about 20 cents on the dollar you paid retail. I have one stashed away cause I couldn't stomach that.
