Hey just got a 96 red convertable with 128k miles off of craigs list and so far have had a blast with it~

A few issues with the car but nothing i shouldn't be able to handle

One thing, is there any place that i can practice driving, with out serious issues/crash/people getting pissed. A rear wheel drive is a bit different than my honda.

I've power slid around some corners a few times and it scared the ---- out of me. I'd like to practice in a big lot that i can spin out in if needed.

 

Find a local autocross (auto-x) and sign up. You can push the car in a controlled environment without getting arrested or a ticket.

Frankly, a smooth dirt parking lot will teach you more about car control and balance than an asphalt one.
