Default My 1992 Miata is Hard to Start and Runs Rough

Hello to all,
I'm new to the forum, I am also new to Miata's. I bought this 1992 Miata for my Daughter for her graduation. Really cute car. We went to California to pick it up and drove it to Reno where it died.

I assumed fuel pump and replaced it. Still no luck. This car is very difficult to start. I have jumped the F/P and Ground and I can get the car to start... it takes some cranking and standing on the gas, but it will start.

Once it is running it runs OK not great. But once it warms up it does a little better. But here is the crazy part once you turn on the A/C it starts to choke out and runs like garbage.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, I am pulling my hair out here and I'm bald...lol I'm looking for someplace to start... I don't know where to begin to fix this.

Thank's Everyone

I'm contemplating what to check. Let me consult with a few folks.

First things first, check for any diagnostic codes.

How many miles on the car? Find someone with a working 1.6 NA and ask to borrow his AFM to see if that solves the problem. If it does, replace it.

I have a working AFM you can borrow for troubleshooting if you need.

Im in reno with a working AFM we can test with from my miata, if you really want.
<<< dont mind the low stats, ^^^these guys know me.

Also, check the little tube from intake to throttlebody, its a small rubber hose that runs from a nipple on the intake tube to the IAT sensor

Maybe because there was no one else posting here at the time. I stopped checking the site when there were no new posts for weeks.

We get noobies here all the time lately. We just don't get a whole lot of people saying "Welcome to the forum!"
