Hi im brand new here.ive had my 96 since 2003 love it dont drive much. i have gone through about five steering wheels i installed the resister way back in the day when removing air bag its been fine for years now i have the dreaded air bag light on. the resistor is fine checked it out with my meter. i want to do away with the light and dont want to pull the dash apart. i believe i should eb able to cut the wire and solder it together to eliminate the light without having the module screaming at me. but my manual doesnt show which wires go to that bulb? i do not want to take the ancient dash apart its in perfect condition. i just need to find the right pair of wires. my manual only covers european and australian cars? so it doesnt even mention the air bag system this is a section of the manual i had never needed to use until now. the car only has 77k origional mile son it. just had it repainted and replaced wheels and tires. im running a hard top and have replaced the soft top also added headers and cat back and gone through around Eight cold air intakes until i found one i really liked all Calif smog legal of course as well as drilled disks and high performance pads.
