Hard Start and Low Cold Idle - Normal when Hot
I have a 90 1.6 short nose and it doesn’t like to start the first time I turn the key in the morning and on the second try it starts but the idle is 400 rpm, once I drive it and warm up the engine it will start every time perfectly and idle at 850. I checked for vacuum leaks and loose connections but couldn’t find any, I’m thinking I need to clean my idle speed controller under the throttle body and maybe the one on the side of the intake manifold? Does anyone have any ideas besides that?
