Default Exhaust Question

Hi, I'm looking at a used RoadsterSport "Q" exhaust for my 2010 NC2. But the one I found is for an NC with the appearence package so I'm told it's 2 1/2 inch longer than the one made for a non-appearence package car. Does anyone know if the added length is between the exhaust tips and the bend in the pipe coming out of the muffler. If it is then I shoild be able to get a muffler shop to remove a 2 1/2 inch section behind the tips and it should fit. Can anyone confirm this.

I cannot confirm but it sounds like you are on the right track.

I asked Brian about the fit and he suggested I install it before doing anything. Although the tips are extended (longer by about 2 1/2 inches) it might look OK. After all, the stock exhaust is tucked well under the car anyway. So I'll try that first and if it looks OK I'll leave it. - Thanks for your reply, Dano

I'm running a RS3 on my msm, build quality is top notch. It is a bit too quiet imo.
