Im thinking about picking up a scissor lift from HF....any thoughts? A buddy has the Snap-On version and its helpful. The HF version can be had for around $1k.

What it looks like with sporty vehicle on it :p

I don't know if I would get under a HF scissor lift, I'd spend a little extra and get something with a brand name and a good reputation.

Personally I dont think I would trust something like that from HB. I do have one of their aluminum floor jacks, but I never get under the car withOut jackstands.

I did just trade in my worn out Craftsman screw drivers, life time warranty FTW

There has been a lot of discussion regarding the HF lift being built at the same plant as a few other more expensive brands.

These lifts do have lock outs that stop it from falling if the hydraulics fail.

The snap-on version is like 4x the price. Arghhhhhh.

I used a ball peen hammer and a hand sledge as my hammer and dolly for the top rivets. It worked great. I'm curious about this tool you speak of. Link?

I recently bought the 1/2" electric impact wrench from HF to do my suspension. What a time saver, it's big but there was no bolt that it couldn't handle. When this breaks I'll get another.
