I've been looking around at 16" wheels and these have caught my eye. They are a little bit heavy at around 17 lbs, but I don't think the 1.5 lb difference between the stock 16s and these will be that big of a deal (save the whole "it's a lot more than you think it is and now your car is 100x slower and less responsive argument, heard it so many times). Anyone played with these wheels and/or have heard good things/experienced good things?

ASA no way. They're good for Toyota Camrys and Nissan Maximas. I can't imagine the thought of putting a 17lb wheel on a Miata. You should be able to find a better and lighter wheel in the same price range.

I would stay away from heavier wheels, but my plans are different. I can't find many performance oriented 16" wheels, but you might be able to.
I know some TRM wheels are available in 16", so maybe you can look there. |

If you want a set of 16" strictly for looks, on a budget. I'd get these...
http://esmwheels.com/access/wheels-c-21_34_62.html slap some BBS centercap stickers on em and everyone will think you've got some BBS RS. |
