Default About those headrest speakers...

Hello, here is Julekpl again. I am interested in installing the headrest speakers into my 1990 miata. Do any of use use/recommend getting them installed? I have some pioneer door speakers installed, but I would like more. I have also noticed that when I took off the headrest cover to access the speakers, there was a hole for them, but I saw no wires in there. Is it hard for an amateur like myself to install? I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to such things.

Thanks!

I would imagine a fellow could feed the wires between the upholstery and the foam down the backside of the seatback without too much drama. My '96 had them and it did add some depth to a rather poor stereo system. Just remember to wire it so that you have the proper number of ohms for each circuit and that the right side headrest has the same signal in both seats (you don't want the driver's seat to have both speakers playing the left channel and the passenger only hearing the right channel).
