I don't see any reason it wouldn't. The NB interior swaps into the NA chassis just fine, so it would be within reason to expect a good fit. AFAIK the NA and NB are pretty much the same except for using different plastic molds.

Except NBs are cooler. That's the biggest difference.

Meh. I like the rear profile of the NB much more, but I also love the pop up headlights. Can't win them all, I guess.

you should be the first one to do a front end conversion from an NB to an NA (or the otherway around). It would be totally baller.

That would be awesome, but I'm not sure I have the aptitude for such a project. I'm decent with fabrication, but getting the lines to match up would be a real chore.

----. Now you got me thinking about how to do it. Anyone good with Photoshop?

I think the NA front end on an NB is much more likely to flow. But good luck getting a proper bumper for the light. the NB front end is wider, it would be serious fiberglass work for sure.

Brainy is "good" with photoshop, but good luck getting him to sign on this project. I think it would be a very cool thing to do if just to say you can/have.

Wouldn't be easy. NB fronts look boss on NAs because they're wider and such.

I'll just pick up the dash soon and start playing with it I suppose. I have all winter and I don't have enough turbo parts to mess with that aspect yet anyways.

I should start pulling my engine out to get ready for the rebuild. Hmm.

Who, me? You know it.

My next purchase will be supertech pistons and some ebay h beam rods. I've been seeing good things on MT about them so I feel pretty good about them. My only question is, the supertech pistons say the rod length associated with them is .002"s less than the length of the rods I found. I don't see an issue with only two thousandths but I'm not expert, so, any insight? Should I look for different rods? It'd only be a slight increase in compression yes?

I also found that I'll need at least 660cc injectors.. I used .55 as my bsfc and multiplied that by 1.3 since I plan on using e85, got .715, times 275 (my realistic spring goal, which will move up after getting everything worked out and broken in, turbo upgrade, tranny upgrade etc), then I divided that by 3.2 (injectors x .8 duty cycle) and multiplied the answer by 10.5 to get ~645. All of that is correct, I hope?

I am leaning towards building my own MS to save some money too. How hard can it be?

That's my plan for clutch and flywheel.

I don't really have much to update other than those two questions. I'm going to start pulling the engine out pretty soon since my next order will be for rods and pistons, and whatever gaskets and seals and bearings I need for the rebuild.

Well with the weather getting warmer and money not coming in as fast as I was hoping for I decided to buy another engine to put in while I build the one in the car. The one in the car has bearings that are one their way out so I don't want to run it any more than it has been already. I started pulling it out yesterday and as I type this I believe the driveshaft and one or two sensors are all I have left to take off before it'll come out. Once it's out the head is going to get cleaned out to remove any metal that may be lurking around in it and I'm going to stick it on the engine/tranny I got from a '95 for pretty cheap. That way I can drive it while I build the engine. I'll be buying another 99-00 head to be build with the bottom end.

While all of that is happening I'm going to drive the car totally stock for a bit and make sure it's in working order. Than I'm going to go ahead and put on the reverant built MS I just bought and mess with it NA so I can get a feel for it and work out any wierd bugs I find. After that I'm going to go ahead and put turbo parts on it and run super low boost and work out any real issues I find with that. By the time all of that has been done I should have the engine built and ready to gooooo.

At that point I'll drive it, dyno it, race it, break it, and figure out what else to do. haha

Just figured I'd update, it's been a long time since I've been on here.
