no jackets. just one, i flashed firmware and remembered to pull it like hlafway through...i was really pissed as I flashed firmware like 2 minutes before and had it unplugged.
It still ran the car, I just lost the dash tach, so I upgraded to toyota cops. |
Cops are on my list, gotta do that pay for college thing first though.

so brain what did the 1.8 do different to eliminate the ignitor, and is it possible to upgrade a 1.6 ignition system to the 1.8?

ignitor is built into the coilpacks. same thing with the cops, one built onto each coil.

It's kind of like cell division. One ignitor, two coils. then two ignitors and two coils, and now four ignitors and four coils.
Like i said I can send you my igniter for I dunno, $5+shipping, and a set of coils for...more. I have two sets, with or without brackets. They're collecting dust so if you want them, PM a ridiculously low price+shipping and they're yours. |
i drove to get one, but i left the door open a bit so the battery was dead doh.

Just sold the injectors i am currently driving on lol, on a side note im sending the 460's in to get cleaned/flowed as soon as i get paid from the sale. may have to go back to the stock 1.6 injectors for a bit, quick question will a almost new oe replacement pump run those injectors till i can get a walbro? if not then definitely back to the 1.6 stocks
