I was just watching Harry Reid blame Bush, not 5 minutes ago. Lots of factual errors, but that's okay, he's the devil.

Two I noted were:

Clinton had a 7 trillion dollar surplus. (and no thanks the Newt)

and Bush lost 8 million jobs during his term.

Honestly, do people even really care?

Its being discussed in the news here and the media is trying to fear us a bit.. ie: increased mortgage, increased interest rates everywhere etc.

Lets assume you are talking about lazy people and not deserving of welfare people (wait, isnt everyone deserving...I await that q). What has changed that would make the lazy and scamming want to get up and work now?

nothing has chaged, they are still disincentivized, but what should change is: nessecity and lowering minimum wage.

FWIW: The CBO would score a FROZEN budget as a $9 Trillion cut. This deal "cuts" 900 billion at best.
