Not the most glamourus but I just bought a 90 Probe GT with a 2.2 Turbo. It's old school but it makes 190ft/lbs of torque stock and is easily upgradable for more. With a simple chip and manual boost controller it easily runs 16-17 lbs of boost. I've had my Probe turned up to 20 once and it was impressive to drive. In a Miata it would be fun try and I just might give it a go seeing as my car came with a complete spare engine.

You mean the F2t?

That's the one. Need to check out some issues as in fwd and turbo position but might be do able.

Shouldn't be too hard. Looks like it's a popular swap for the B2200 and some even convert the gen1 MX6 to RWD using the F2t

But my engine weighs 7800lbs and is about 5 feet tall. It is 30 liters and has 1200 HP and 2800ft lbs. It wouldn't corner well...

Six, you disappoint...
You and your damn ground-bound power-plant...
But at least it's a purdy red color... And turboze...

Is a 4,360 cube, 28 cylinder (in four rows), air cooled, radial (duh), ~3600 pound monster making up to 4300 horsepowerz with a 3900-4300 max rpmz limit. Needs Nawz.

Prat & Whitney R-4360
And no, I don't know how much liquid gold it guzzles per minute...:ohnoes:

P&W for the win! Hope you like burning through oil and fuel.

The sr 20 det has been done and is very fast.
A Turbo ed Mitsubishi would be fast
The v6 sho would be amazing with some mods to make it rev even higher.
This is not going to be popular with some but a mazda 13 b ported and spun up would have a low center of gravity, and be exceptionally fast easy fit too.

I know I'm a bad person for thinking this, but what would the difficulties be with swapping in either:

VQ35DE w/transmission
or
BMW S50 w/transmission

may have to also include the clusters or a street legal race cluster as well.

I'm trying to come up with a Cali legal, 6 cylinder swap for my miata. I'd be keeping the entire setup as OEM as possible, and mainly just do it to actually have power without having like 7 litres of v8 all up in my ----.
Thats too much power for me, i'm looking for as close to 300whp NA as possible, while still being at least mildly affordable and not doing too much crazy ---- with the weight distribution.
hence the VQ35DE instead of VQ35HR... anyways please let me know your thoughts.
