So while trolling on CR tonight i noticed some people are tired of the hellaflush/rice movement going on there. so why dont we hit cr with some threads about here. people that are douches can be sent back and the good standing people can make this one grow.
thoughts?

I don't think that Tim and the moderators will be happy about advertising for another forum when its not relevant.

I think at best you can link/suggest MFz in relevant threads.

I love the idea, but I wonder how it would work in practice. I tend to stay away from CR not because there isn't good information, but it seems to have been completely overrun with the herrafrush crowd. I think that the ones who feel the same will find there way here. Would it be wrong to post a link in my signature on the other boards?

while we are certainly open-minded, I think MFz is an enthusiast site. It is here for people who like the Miata rather than people who like hellaflush. If the two happen to coincide, you won't hear me complain.

I am all for picking up people, but please no riceland fitment bullshit threads.

There should be an automatic ban for the mention of said "coilovers." Maybe before you even click the submit button, there is an automatic ban hammer.

Never noticed that there before. I don't necessarily hate "stanced" rides, but the attitude, maturity level, and knowledge base that follows with it is shall we say, less than desirable.

I'm in the same boat. 21 and Tired of being lowlow and wanting to be more function-oriented.

I think people are pretty comfortable over there. They may complain but I think it might be tough to get some over here.
Sharing links is totally fine IMO if they are on topic and not too spammy...but some site owners dont care regardless... this domain has already been censored on the biggest Miata site and no one spammed anything.

Miataroadster looks a lot better imho... But i didn;t see any value when i was skimming the site... just looked like another cr.

it is. even the forums are setup identical, except there is a section for NB, NA, NC, and ND now. Its like miata.net without all the technical and a seperate forum for all the sponsors.

Hell, they gained the most members from all the that went down. good for them though, I think PhatMiata was probably pretty upset with Tim and probably maybe Bryan.

No, I think Phatmiata is the one who is making it. He has pretty much all the same moderators from clubroadster, plus a new one or two. Alex (YellowYata) is a buddy of mine that I met back when I frequented miata.net

Well i am here now. i use to frequent clubroadster and many other forums. One of my friends suggested this site. Seem pretty good.

When Rick took over miataturbo, I prevented anything like this from happening...and rick turned out to be pretty cool

well, the key here is it doesn't matter where you are from. We just want some more competent individuals to partake in miata and Random discussions.
