I think the ac/heat takes 74 wedges

I think that's great, I'm a sucker for things that light up. I wonder if you could add some yellow LEDs in there too. I've got an LED setup in my gauge cluster.

Here are my LEDs. they are amber:

Sorry about the blur, I can take a better picture if you like.

btw, thats WITHOUT the mylar on the inside. I will take a picture in the next couple of days to demonstrate the hot spot elimination that mylar can provide.

I've thought about getting some blue LEDs to "properly" light my cluster, but the damn painters tape did such a good job I'm reluctant to take evreything apart and try something new. Myabe if I decide to ditch the blue....

Mylar? Rev, do you know about this?

what does this mean? Is Rev the master of gauge cluster LEDing? or is this in reference to his gauge face mod?

Sorry, but I've never gotten into LEDs. I always assume folks have their stock bulbs, so that's what I design my gauges around. With LEDs, there are too many unknowns, so I tell my customers they're on their own if they choose to use them.

FWIW, I've been making gauge faces for about 8 years and selling them for about a year and a half now. I've made around 50 sets for folks. (not a commercial, just trying to put my experience into perspective).

I know about your gauge face stuff. Its SUPERB. I haven't made new faces yet, but I will when my focus goes back to the interior (my engine needs some more work still). I didn't know you sold them, mind linking me to that location?

As for the mylar, I have to put in some work on the car later tonight, so I will snap a picture for you guys with the lights on. in the mean time...

Keep in mind that I am running amber lights, which tend be the weakest of the LEDs. I found the green to be much brighter and less prone to the hot spotting when using the 360 LEDs.
