Is there a regulation on steering wheels where you race? You could simply put a new wheel on minus the airbag. Just trying to help you save some cash

If you are not going to race I see a "quick detach this" and "4 point that" is a blatant waste of cash (even though its apparently not an issue. buddy youre american, trust me its an issue). On a lighter note, google would tell you everything you need to know. In the name of the United States and all her colonies, I dub thee "Lord White Rice". sorry "brochocho" I didnt get me gallon of coffee this morn. Enjoy your miata, which would be pretty hard not to.

I understand why you asked a forum, they are an excellent resource. In my first post I was trying to fish for a reason why you need a quick detach hub. Hey, LWR, if its just your cup of tea then thats the end of it. Im just opinionated is all. It doesnt mean youre wrong or that Im right. Take care and like i said prior, enjoy your miata

I've searched and found plenty of adapters for the Miata but none of them tell what size the splined shaft actually is...

I guess you could just buy one that says it fits the Miata and proceed from there.
