I am really proud of this.. the PO had put some kind of cover over it, seemed like it was made of bakelite or something weird. it had melded to be a part of the shift ****. after I looked at replacing it with a nardi shift ****, it was gonna be about 200 bucks for OEM..
Got the Dremel tool out.
Took about 4hrs to get the junk off it.. then sanded it down and coated it 5 times with polyurethane.. Glad I did
