one of our local autocrossers just bought an ex spec racer for 750, because the kid who owned it could make it run. took him 5 min in the dudes driveway to fix and drove it up on the trailer. its got some headwork done to it, im trying to buy the head off him

anyway someone take that steal of a deal if everything checks out. i would bet its a lack of upkeep (timing belt, and such)

 

the miata's getting snowed on.. since mom's having the upper bathroom redone and all the work equipment is taking up the garage. sigh.

anyways, gonna be over at adam's tonight at around 4 pm to get an early start on finishing off the waterpump replacement & coolant reroute. need some sort of motivation i've been sorta losing it lately.

Just my luck, my parts came in today to put on the car and get it going again and it starts snowing... Indiana is supposed to get hit super hard too. My grage is located in Laporte... FML... The driveway is all gravel and it's about a quarter mile drive from the street to the garage, if there's a inch of snow the miater won't make it out alive...

 

yeah, the toll road between Michigan City and LaPorte is always the worst in a snow storm. I've seen the most accidents and largest on that stretch. When lake effect hits, it hits hard there...... We don't get snow like that side of the lake.
