my 1993 Miata was rear ended last night...Hit and run
I was able to drive my car back home & it started up fine today, so I'm HOPING there's no mechanical problems. The bumper got messed up, and there is now a dent on the driver side near the back tire. Also the trunk will not close. The trunk looks like it is not lined up straight...when I try to close it one side looks too close while the other has an inch gap.

 

The insurance company would consider that totalled because of the low value of the car. A body shop could straighten it a little on a frame machine or you could pay to have a corner cut off of another and welded in. Either way, there isn't a long list of things you can do with it, other than deal with it and drive it. I bet your frame is tweaked and your rear alignment is probably out, just looking at it.
