Default Pulled a new 328

Oddly enough, I pulled a 328 bimmer the other day. I was surprised to ----! apparently weight loss is a quick way to go a little faster.

I got a point-by from a Caddy CTS, an S2000 and a 5 series Bimmer at Sebring but they all had to let off the gas on the straights for me to actually pass, lol. That must really eat them up inside, haha.

Congrats on the kill, btw. A kill is a kill.

haha, last track day:

G35
Spec E30
ae86 (wtf?)
Z06 (I have video of me passing him twice and him making me follow him around for 3 laps without a point by. annoying)
Bullit Mustang
new 302 Boss
350z (two of these)
2 Porsches, don't know year
assortment of other cars including a miata, mazda3, mazda6, and a TSX. I gotta hand it to them, those guys improved a ton through out the weekend though.
(you can see all of them in my videos)
----, they hated me. And you are totally right sixshooter, a few people complained about people riding there *** and made excuses in class.

Its fine though, I think CMP will be much smoother since their won't be as many new people.

They were very clear on our track day that if someone was anywhere behind you, unless you just passed them, they were there because they were faster. With the Z06, I think I would have kept getting closer until he was uncomfortable and let you by. Usually the corner workers will call that in and you will see some blue flags or some sort of discussion with him after the session. Sebring is 3.7 miles around so you didn't see much traffic at all out there. Lots of room for everybody. I bet shorter tracks like Roebling have more trouble with that than the big ones.

Are you running RA on Dec 3-4?

I am running it with MVPtracktime Nov. 22-23, I would love to come down there in Dec. and all, but I really can't drive down to RA but so frequently. its pretty much a 6 hour drive for me and my car is much more uncomfortable this time around than last. Lets see how the money situation pans out, maybe if I can get camping gear I will be more open to it. what group is running Dec. 3-4?

You know Steve, I might actually do it. RA is a great enough track that I can make up an excuse and go there another time. What is the club you are running with? I will sign up sometime mid-November.

I will admit, I was hoping to skip out on my last session and put that money towards Xidas , but I think that I can setup a nice set of coilovers with some off-the-shelf springs and revalved Bilsteins. Just gotta get the adjustable perch and I am confident I will end up just a hair under 1k including the front sway.

I will probably have the 6ULs in time, just gotta decide if I want to run my current Star Specs or get a set of AD08s.

NASA SE

And mine won't have fancy wheels on it for this. I've got to find some cheap tires for the Rota Slipstreams or run the stock 14" hollow spokes with RS2 tires. I ain't too proud, as they say.
