i have my overrun on above 2000RPM, iirc, but the map threshold is really low to make sure you're really pulling the vacuum (27kPa iirc, i dile at 33-35kPa) before it enables, and I have it on a 2 second delay. TPS is set to something like 0.5%.

I had to play with it to make sure it wouldn't activate if i was in 5th gear and cruising at very low rpms without throttle input basically.

to cut fuel when you are deccelerating so the rear tires drive the motor since you are in gear and you dont waste fuel.

k i will tinker with it and find a decent setting, on another note i hooke the stock ecu back up to the parellel harness for use when i get ac back in the car. and if i read right on mt you can have the stock ecu do idle correct? how do you tell the megasquirt to do this?

your MS does not have the idle control mod built in. the Stock ECU is required to control idle.
