alt+printscreen when you have a window open (this takes a screenshot of any the active window).

open paint, paste, save as jpg.

then in your post, click manage attachments, and add the jpg as an attachement.

I then like to copy the link location of the attachment and add it as an inline image in the post.


there's zero reason to use outside hosting services when you can attach images here.

Brain is one of the few people that knows alt+printscreen. I work in IT and have to teach that to folks in IT all the time. He has done his share of technical documentation before.

I completely agree. It's not right for me to ask others to do the legwork when I'm the one asking for help, I've always hated when people do that. I was hoping there was an easier way than using MSPaint, but alas...

I'll get some stuff up in a bit.
