Cibié E-codes

Cibié E-codes
Plenty of discussions over Cibié versus Hella versus Bosch versus HID in many forums already.
I signed up just to let anyone interested in upgrading to E-codes that Amazon now sells Cibié E-codes . I uploaded the pics I took of what I received in the images on Amazon.
Currently $41.59 per headlamp (without bulb) and free S/H.
Almost half of what they sell for at Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply
Cibié H4 headlamps—7” round
H4 high/low beam, convex (domed) lens: $77.95/ea
Regulatory compliance: ECE (European E-Code); SAE M
$149.90 per pair without bulbs. Plus Shipping.
Bosch at busdepot are a great buy but the pattern of Cibiés is said to be better.
Bosch European H4 Headlights - PAIR
$44.95 without bulbs. Plus shipping.
Have not installed the Cibiés yet, I'm currently running the Bosch I bought from Flyin' Miata a couple years ago. Decided to try the Cibiés as someone posted at another Miata forum that Amazon has them at a much more affordable price than others sell them for.

Thanks for the info. The E-code lamps are a far better upgrade than the non-projector HID lamps that so many are foolishly using. They put light where you want it, and only where you want it.

Yep, E-codes are the way to go. Love the Bosch I have currently installed, soon as I figure out which bulbs I want I am going to install the Cibiés. Trying to decide between Hella and Osram...
