My "New" HT has side strikes and yes, they are in use. I'm not as think as you dumb I am!
How is this possible? There had to be something wrong or not fully tightened I would imagine.

I've reluctantly run my car for 2 winters w/o side latches and never has it even wobbled on a pot hole, must of been some crazy pot hole.

Damn.

I am buying either Remmental or Garagestar hmmm

Judt got my side strikers. Stupid customs takes forever. Oh well my hard top is still on my car and im happy. thanks jumbosrule.
