Default (help) short circuit and Lost cable Miata na 97

I recently purchased a miata na 97 from my dad. The car has been in his garage for five years due to a short circuit, which probably happened because of a bad work someone did on it. I'm trying to repair all affected cables, so that the car can have all cables as they come from the factory.*
The problem that I have is that I can't find this lilac cable, it's not in my car and I need to know what its function is because I would like to get it connected.

I will attach pictures of the cable and how it is currently.*
