not everyone has the time and energy to be retarded.
I really am beginning to dislike the drifting scene. I've been running into so many of these hippie *** "drift" crowd sorts. "Awe man its like ya know all about the lifestyle maaan like just drift dude it's jdm." They always take nice cars and ruin them.

Not to say I don't like drifting etc... Cause I do. But I like meeting other miata enthusiasts and having conversations about car specs and track times etc. Without being the first sentence out of their mouth, awe well I just welded the dif and slammed it so I can drift.

yeah I'm not in for it. I myself am building to do autocross in the 94-97 NA class. i'm eh-null about the cleanliness of my miata but if i could find another s-chassis for close to nothing I'd drift it to ---- too. I mean if its a spare junker that the TS doesn't give a care about in the world then why the hell not? it was just a suggestion. the reason why i dont like doing it is coz its an impractical route for cars but extra no ***** given car presents itself to you its an option.

I got the craziest call today.... guy wants the trans and both subframes with suspension to graft it under his.....

wait for it......
SAAB 99 body! He has a bridge ported 12a rotary to put in it. He only wants to spend $500 and wont need the body ect. I am going to keep the trunk lid, front and rear bumpers, doors with power windows, console, radio bezel, hood, headlights, and other various bits. He just needs a running driving platform until he swaps the engines. If he shows up at the house as promised with the deposit, I start stripping the car.

I second this. I drive a beat, POS daily Miata that's rattle can white. I never thought I'd appreciate this, but its liberating to park next to people, know you're getting a door ding, and genuinely not care. Sure, it will soon have ASTs, 6-speed, 3.63, MS2, and a VVT swap, but no one will ever know and I can drive through another hail storm and not care.

I got a buyer for the car today. He wants the drivetrain and suspension to slide it under his Saab 99. Best thing is I get to strip the good body panels and interior. As long as the car runs and drives he is good. I have to remove the rugs and passenger door in the morning and then it's gone.
Thanks for the replies.
